Radu Muntean (born 8 June 1971, in Bucharest) is a Romanian film director and screenwriter. He is a central figure of the Romanian New Wave.
Radu graduated from the Theater and Film Academy in Bucharest in 1994, where he directed three short films. Since 1996, he has directed over 400 commercials and has won over 40 national and international awards in various advertising festivals. His feature debut, Furia (English: The Rage), was awarded Best First Film by The Romanian Filmmakers Union, and Best Photography at the 2003 Transilvania International Film Festival. His second feature, The Paper Will Be Blue, as well as Boogie are representative of the Romanian New Wave.

Aparte de algunas peleas y conflictos entre los miembros del grupo, todo parece ir bien para María y Dan. The Romanian penitentiary system allows, from 2006, the marriage of people sentenced to serve time in prison. Most of the inmates cultivate the pre-existing relationships with the concubines or partners who live outside the prison walls. Though, there is a special category, of those who find a life partner during their time in prison. VISITING ROOM follows the stories of some prisoners found in different penitentiaries across the country, who have found their life partner during their sentence time. The one is either a person from outside, or as them, a person who is serving time in prison. Our intention was to talk to the people found in the special situation of being deprived of freedom, to whom love becomes a substitute for freedom and represents maybe their only hope for a better future.

Paul y Adriana están casados desde hace diez años y tienen una hija de ocho. Desde hace seis meses, Paul mantiene una relación extraconyugal con la dentista Raluca. Antes de Navidad, Paul, que intenta distribuir su tiempo entre su amante, la compra de regalos y las veladas en familia, decide llevar a su hija al consultorio de Raluca. Un imprevisto en la agenda de Adriana provoca un encuentro entre las dos mujeres, situación que colocará a Paul frente a una difícil elección.

Frustrated that, between his job and his family, time is no longer his to manage and play with, Boogie now takes his shock dosage of freedom and spends a night to tick off all the items on the map of his youth (drinking, games, flirting, prostitutes). In the morning, after the disillusionment of the remake he experiences with his former friends, he returns to his wife.
