Cuando la novia, Eleanor, descubre que su ahora esposo ha recibido un anillo como regalo de bodas de su ex novia, se produce una pelea por nocaut. Ante la insistencia de Eleanor, los recién casados abandonan el hotel y emprenden una expedición para devolver el anillo. Su sencilla misión se convierte rápidamente en una odisea que dura toda la noche por las calles de Jerusalén.
