Every summer, 10-year-old Dune goes with her parents to the south-west coast of France, where she meets her best friend Mathilde. The father of seventeen-year-old Elias suddenly dies. At school as well as at home, his friends and relatives await his reaction, which doesn't occur. Elias continues his life as if nothing had happened.
