Oleksandr Muratov is a Ukrainian film director, poet, and author. Between 1962–1968 Muratov was the director of the Odesa Film Studio, and from 1968 he was the director of the Kyiv-based Dovzhenko Film Studio. He lives in Kyiv, Ukraine.
