Después de no haberse visto en cinco años, Chris Terry va a visitar a su hermana pequeña Noelle Terry a Montreal. Sus vidas han sido un tanto turbulentas. Noelle, adicta a las drogas, se le complica llegar a fin de mes. Ella acaba de terminar una temporada en la cárcel. Noelle le hará una propuesta a su hermano.
