Boonchu, a decent and innocent young man from Suphan, comes to Bangkok to fulfill his dream to become a university graduate. At class Boonchu meets Molee, a cute young girl whom he falls in love with. However, he realizes that it might be an impossible romance seeing how many other guys also share the same feeling towards her.
Sam-ang
After each annual Royal Ploughing ceremony, grains of rice paddy are distributed to farmers. Saokam, a farmer, takes some paddy to grow in his field, while Buarian just keeps one seed for worship. Since then, Saokam keeps growing rice with that paddy. Ten years later, the paddy fields suffer a drought. There is not enough water, even for drinking or bathing. Some have to mortgage their own fields to pay the bills, while Buarian takes advantage of her neighbor's poverty.
Pim has a large family with lots of relatives, most of them stick around expecting a share in the family’s will. Pim is being forced to marry someone, but she refuses and decides to move to school down south. In school she meets Alan, after a while both really fall in love with each other.
Nakha
Highlights the hardships faced by a boy who works selling popsicles at the local train station and forced by economic circumstance to smuggle rice across the Thai-Malaysian border.
