Cabo Sobrino
Al norte de Afganistán, una mina estalla al paso de un convoy estadounidense escoltado por la legión española. El inexperto teniente Conte queda al mando de una dotación para proteger a los heridos hasta que los evacuen. La capitán Varela, médico militar, acude al rescate en un helicóptero del ejército español, pero el terreno cede durante el aterrizaje y el helicóptero vuelca, dejando a los rescatadores atrapados junto a los legionarios en medio de la nada. El impulsivo comandante Ledesma propone un arriesgado plan para rescatarlos a todos y recuperar el aparato siniestrado. Historia basada en un hecho real.

Lina, a graceful schoolgirl, has an affair against her father's will with Álvaro, a young bohemian who squanders his fortune. They decide to flee from the father's vigilance, but at the train station a wounded beggar warns Lina about the grave mistake she is making. Álvaro bandages her wound with a handkerchief on which his initials are inscribed and Lina gratefully gives her her jewelry and in turn informs Álvaro of her decision not to continue with this adventure. The beggar woman is assaulted and murdered. Her corpse is found with Alvaro's handkerchief, who is accused of the crime. Although he is innocent, he keeps silent to protect Lina.
