La bonita ciudad de Batavia ha dejado de ser una ciudad segura en la que vivir. La violencia, los robos y muchas otras formas de criminalidad campan a sus anchas por sus calles. The Witness tells the story about the girl "Angel Williams" who is having nightmares about a boy who is commiting suicide. One day Angel is invited by her family to a dinner in their house because Angel is quite busy so she missed their family reunions. A unknown man appears on the house and killed her guards,maids,sister,mother and father. Leaving her as "The Witness".When she manage to escape while the killer is finding her,she was shot into her back. She survived and she must investigate the happenings several years ago.
Screenplay
Keke is a young girl with a loving father and mother, as well as loyal friends. She is diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (a cancer of connective tissues), which is unusual at her age. After undergoing twenty-five sessions of chemotherapy, the once healthy and beautiful Keke finds herself sickly and bald, with a disfigured face. Although the treatment initially works, the cancer returns a year later. Doctors estimate that Keke has three months to live. To help her deal with her pain, she begins keeping a diary; through her writing she finds the strength to hold on for a year. As she begins to accept her fate, she writes a letter to God in her diary, asking that her family be kept safe.
