Three Macedonian women have to contend with control over their bodies, tradition, loyalty, pregnancy and adoption. They have not set out to change the world or society, but their struggle to become mothers makes them unlikely heroines. The three bittersweet stories, one medieval, two contemporary, mirror and contrast one another, exploring themes of love, trust and motherhood.

Two nine-year-old girls report a flasher to the police even though they never saw him. Three filmmakers meet the only residents of a deserted village - an elderly brother and sister who have not spoken to each other in 16 years. Retired cleaning women are found raped and strangled in a small town. The fiction slowly turns into a documentary.

Grabación del legendario musical creado en 1981 por Andrew Lloyd Webber, basado en la obra "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" de T. S. Eliot. El argumento narra la vida de una comunidad de gatos comunes que, una vez al año, de noche, se escapan de sus casas y se reúne en el basurero del barrio a esperar la llegada de su líder, el anciano Old Deuteronomy. Este gato es el padre y abuelo de muchos de los gatos Jellicles y es quien cada año da el nombre del felino que va a pasar a una nueva vida en el Heaviside Layer, una especie de paraíso para los gatos. Pero, mientras se da el nombre del afortunado felino un miembro del clan se da cuenta que hay un humano mirando y escuchando con cara de sorpresa a los gatos, y por ese motivo, se proponen aclarar quienes son los Jellicles a través de la presentación de los felinos más característicos de esta peculiar familia.

The sights and sounds of the Capital at Christmas form a deceptively romantic backdrop, for this brief meditation on loneliness and love.

To ease her homesickness Miriam recreates an aspect of home in her suburban British garden. Cultural memory exerts a healing power, combatting cultural appropriation, hostility towards migrants and the rift between Miriam and her Nigerian-British children.
