Não foi muito fácil escolher a forma de contar a história de Flordelis, mãe, ex-moradora da Favela do Jacarezinho, mulher corajosa que entra nas comunidades, a louca que desafiou a justiça por amor aos filhos, a linda mulher que abriu mão da sua juventude e do seu futuro profissional para viver a missão de doar amor, ensinar amor e aprender com o amor.

Clumsy old lady Dina Rocha lives with her son Marcelo. After a series of incidents at home, she moves to her house in Santa Teresa. She meets her friend Nonô and she pays a visit to her old friend. Her sons do not know where she is and they go to the hospitals and morgues. Coincidently there is the body of an old lady smashed by a truck and they believe that she is their mother. Meanwhile two smalltime thieves break in Nonô's house and keep the two old ladies locked in the bathroom. During the funeral of Dina Rocha, the dysfunctional families have a quarrel disputing their heritage.

La historia de dos parejas que son vecinas y los problemas matrimoniales provocados por la llegada inesperada de dos personajes importantes de su pasado. La primera pareja, Carlos y Ana, viven en el séptimo piso de un edificio. Ana siente que tiene derecho a más amor de lo que su esposo está dispuesto a dar. De repente, un viejo amigo, Tomás, reaparece después de muchos años y se queda en su casa. Andréa y Miguel viven en el edificio del otro lado de la calle y también atraviesan una crisis matrimonial. En una fiesta, conocen a Cláudia, la primera novia de Miguel, y ella no tiene un lugar donde quedarse. Naturalmente, la invitan a dormir en su casa. La presencia de los dos recién llegados causará muchos cambios en sus relaciones.

Isolda (Irene Ravache), tía de Dolores (Laura Ramos), envía a su sobrina a La Habana 5000 dólares desde su casa en Río de Janeiro, para que pueda montar el restaurante que tanto desean ambas. Dolores no sabe que los dólares viajan camuflados en el tacón de unos zapatos de baile. Los zapatos llegan a La Habana, pero son canjeados una y otra vez por diversos artículos y distintas personas, sin que nadie sepa lo que esconden en su interior. Cuando Dolores se entera, intenta recuperarlos a toda costa, revolviendo toda La Habana, ayudada por su amigo José (Jorge Sanz) un buscavidas español que se hace pasar por cubano para sobrevivir y Mercedes (María Galiana) antigua ama de llaves, diabética y algo transtornada.

Ex-drug dealer is forced to go back to business by a corrupt policeman. He must go to Colombia and bring back some cocaine, but discovers the whole thing is a set up. He then devises a suicidal plan for revenge.
