Adapted from the best-seller, the films is a road movie full of music and poetry, driving us from the hot districts of Marseille, to Paris, Montrealand Dakar. Paulo, the young writer, follows Richard, the old musician, in his wanderings, encounters, love stories and will share his vision of life. Richard transmits to Paulo his crazy and strange experience, opening the door to an enchanting world of passion.

In the summer of 1870, Raquel, who owns a farm, and lives secluded in her mansion with an old butler and a handful of servants, feels proud when an odd acquaintance comes by. Their ambiguous relationship will be revealed, when by accident old wounds are reopened.

Foued is a little schemer from Barbes, who doesn't listen enough to his two accomplices of always, Philippe and Pierrot. He prefers to follow the idea of Manu, a young woman who wants to use her three "pigeons" by carrying out a heist intended to avenge her father. Demasked then adopted, it is four pigeons who will go up to Paris to carry out the business.

Three young women at a hair salon all like the son of the clothing store proprietors across the mall. Although Robby is selfish and shallow, he's appealing to Lili, the salon's manager, who's trendy and also the salon-owner's moll; to Mado, who's innocent and sweet; and to Pascale, who's intelligent but passive and downcast. Robby's dad tells him to grow up and see beyond the mercurial Lili, so he proposes suddenly to Mado. She's delighted, but the day before the wedding, Lili returns to give Robby another look. In the background, a Yank who was a soldier in France in World War II returns to Paris and tries to recapture the love of his wartime sweetheart, Robby's mom.

With an off-beat sense of humor to match its erratic central character, this original comedy-drama features Jean-Philippe Ecoffey as Yves, a young man who works as a cop at night. The catch is that Yves turns to petty crime during the day, partly to impress Aurore (Aurelle Doazan), a nurse he idolizes from afar. His criminal hobby seems hard to understand, since it's doubtful that they will really get him anywhere with Aurore; besides, she already has a boyfriend. Nevertheless, Yves starts out by robbing a post office and ends up trying to run over Aurore's boyfriend, an act which finally gets him into serious trouble.
