Guinea Ecuatorial se independizó hace 51 años de España. Este país africano vive bajo una de las dictaduras más longevas del mundo, la de Teodoro Obiang, un militar formado en Zaragoza. Su régimen reprime fuertemente todas las libertades, también las sexuales. En el país siguen vigentes leyes de la España franquista, como el "escándalo público". No es posible manifestarse en la calle y la única organización LGTB del país no ha podido legalizarse. Además, el Parlamento del país está estudiando endurecer el código penal vigente. Para denunciar la situación, el colectivo "Somos parte del mundo" ha recogido las voces de la comunidad en un documental que rinde tributo a Fidel Lemoy, una de sus caras más conocidas, desaparecido el año pasado.
