Hatun "Aynur" Sürücü, a vibrant young Turkish woman and mother is murdered at 23 by her youngest brother in an honor killing. Forced into an abusive arranged marriage with a cousin in Istanbul at 16 by her devout Muslim family, Aynur escapes to Berlin and gives birth to a son. She is considered a disgraceful burden by her parents and siblings, so Aynur soon leaves her family and attempts to start a new life.

Rodada en un único plano secuencia, el film tiene como escenario el famoso barrio berlinés de Kreuzberg. La cámara es testigo de todo lo que le pasa a la joven Victoria, una joven española de Berlín, durante dos horas de su vida: desde las cuatro de la mañana hasta las seis: desde que conoce a cuatro jóvenes para los que la noche acaba de empezar, y cómo en ese breve periodo de tiempo le suceden cosas que darán un giro total a su vida.
