The traditional meeting of old friends in the bath leads to well-known consequences. Musical stars, actors and comedians act out the most recognizable scenes from their favorite New Year's Soviet films and perform songs familiar to everyone.

The crazy comedy "City Day" tells about one day in the life of the inhabitants of the provincial Lyubyakino. Celebrating the City Day, people did not notice that the president himself had planned the working trip through the town. Sudden news plunges everyone into shock and creates chaos: the mayor, the district police officer, the priest and other heroes from this place, lost in the outback, forgotten by God and progress, must, in the shortest possible time, bring the city, actively celebrating, as the last time, into a decent look, in a hurry to mask the problems from the view from the guarded cortege and to depict that this is a place of high culture of everyday life.

The characters will share stories from their personal life and career, immerse the viewer in nostalgic memories of their home, first tours, and relationships with girls. Thoughts about Nord-OST, memories of Mike Tyson's arrival in Odessa, arguments about large fees – these and many other first-person sketches will be told by the members of the creative group "Quartet I".

The film should look not only every fan of the battles, but everyone who wants to understand this culture, learn about its history and about where it is moving. The film tells a story of an agent betrayed by his partner when transporting new psychic weapon. Believed to be dead, he escapes and takes new identity so he can live in peace far away. But later he is forced to return to Moscow to confront a secret organization, led by his former partner, that attempts to use the dangerous weapon in order to take control over the country. Now he is a key figure in the battle between forces of darkness and light.

This story is about three slacker friends: Marat (a video store worker); Belyj (an unsuccessful actor); and Nick (a cowardly marshal arts practitioner). Bored with their lives and wanting to instead live in style, the boys rob the richest and most respected men in the city. However, they are in over their heads and it is too late to turn back.
