The story of Monteforte Toledo - the film's Doctor Zamora - who comes to San Pedro La Laguna (Guatemala) as a young man during the military dictatorship in the first decades of the 20th century. Zamora sets out with great idealism and dedication to eradicate illness among the Indians, even if his work is disapproved by the military commander in town. Zamora falls in love with María, a young Indian girl from a village, and he invites her to come live with him in the town of San Pedro. However, other young women have noted the charm of the elegant of Zamora, and even the young idealist doctor cannot escape the conflict between Ladinos (Mestizos or non-Indians) and Indians.

La directora del colegio "Happy High School" descubre espantada que se han rajado todos los resortes de la moral. Ni siquiera la severidad de los profesores pueden modificar la situación de desquicio que reina en ese lugar. Por tal razón la directora decide nombrar a una interventora para poner fin a estos excesos y reestablecer el orden en el colegio. Los alumnos están abocados a la realización del espectáculo de fin de año y temen que la interventora arruine sus planes por lo que el líder del grupo decide secuestrarla y que una impostora ocupe su lugar. Al colegio llega entonces una mujer bella y provocativa que tendra que disimular sus irresistibles encantos para que el plan pueda desarrollarse según lo acordado.
