Angélica

With clear stylistic references to the spaghetti western, the film tells a story set in the Chilean countryside in a bygone era. The script, which tries to offer a folkloric costumbrista picture through an anecdote of love and revenge, is primary and unsubstantial. In many moments the film turns out to be comic when it is supposed to be dramatic and vice versa.
A maid loses all her jobs because her son cries at night, and that bothers her bosses. The play portrays the wandering and desperation of the protagonist to get a job, which ends in her failed attempts due to the "Angelito".
El jefe de un negligente taller de gasfitería y electricidad, es víctima de la burocracia en las oficinas públicas y no logra pagar sus deudas, por lo que cierran su taller. Con mucha suerte logra conseguir un trabajo de reparación en la casa de un ministro, luego entra a trabajar en un ministerio, transformándose también en un burócrata. Aprovechando su amistad con el ministro, logra ascender hasta llegar a ser jefe de archivo, pero se da cuenta de la rutina que va llenando el trabajo y renuncia.
