Screenplay
A genuine performance film as Bernadette Laffont and Bulle Ogier engage, with reckless abandon, in a flurry of senseless destruction in a house at night. Somewhere between a hallucination and a nightmare. Both the explosive soundtrack and narration that accompanies the mayhem was provided by François Tusques.

El mismo día en que encierran a su novio, boxeador, por haberle dado un puñetazo sin querer a un guardia, la joven y hermosa Nannina encuentra trabajo como cajera en un cafetería. Tanto el tímido y viudo patrón como un mujeriego vecino se enamoran de ella. El patrón le ofrece poner un mesón a su nombre con la condición de que acepte casarse con él. Ella acepta debido a su situación económica y que regentar ese mesón es la ilusión de su vida. Junto a casarse con su novio boxeador, que justo entonces sale de la cárcel y empiezan los problemas para la bella Nannina...
