Janakiyamma
Kattila Gopalan (Dileep) is a notorious name in a little village named Oonjaalaadi. Though nobody has seen Gopalan, people hold him in dread as he is a thief who always manages to steal whatever he wants, without ever getting caught or even being seen by anyone. His identity remains a mystery. Then one day Harishchandran (Harisree Asokan), a carpenter happens to see Gopalan for the first time. Gopalan is thus forced to flee the little village and seeks refuge in the city.
Maya Bazaar is a place in a village called Mayannoor where people buy salvaged cars for their parts. Rameshan (Mammootty) is a leading man of the bazaar. With the money he earns, he feeds patients at the local hospital. A young girl who lives in Maya Bazaar called Maya loves Rameshan, but Rameshan does not have any feelings for her. Rameshan has a rival gang led by Bhadran (Kalabhavan Mani) and Bhadran wants to marry Maya.
Trader Women
Thalappavu (English: The Headgear ) is a 2008 Malayalam film based on the story of Naxal Varghese and Police Constable P. Ramachandran Pillai, directed by Madhupal and written by Babu Janardhanan. The film portrays the social and political issues of the Naxalite era of the 1970s in Kerala.
In the ancient village of Shivapuram, little Ananthan hears a tale from his mother, Gayathri (Revathi). She tells him that his family comes from a line of powerful magicians, and they are responsible for protecting nagamanikyam, a jewel on a serpent's head. The jewel, she narrates, lies in a secret place in the house guarded by snakes, including a tiny snake called Kunjootan. Years later, obeying the wishes of his dead mother, Ananthan (Prithviraj Sukumaran) returns to his ancestral village to light the lamps at Shivakavu, a dark and mysterious temple of Shiva.

Saranalayam is an old-age home run by Eradi. He appoints Vivek as the new manager to help him evict the inmates so that he can sell it.
Moidu's Mother
Unnimaya (Renjitha) and Sreekutty (Anju Aravind) are sisters, who have to take care of themselves and their mother after their father passes away. Unnimaya's marriage proposals go awry because her villagers suspect an illicit relationship with Ramanathan (Suresh Gopi) due to certain misunderstandings. However, she gets a proposal from Vasudevan (Mukesh) who is willing to marry her despite their financial troubles. After their wedding she realises that Ramanathan is a distant relative of Vasudevan.
Viswan, a smuggler, fakes his identity in front of Chandradas, a police commissioner. What happens when Chandradas finds out who Viswan really is?
Ambili is a handicapped girl who has the hobby of making models and toys. When a doctor proposes to marry Ambili, she refuses upon realizing that his feelings are out of sympathy towards her.

Subhashini's Mother
Thakara is an orphan. He is mentally immatured but clean hearted. He has a close relationship with Subhashini, the dream girl of the village. Thakara was betrayed by the words of Chellappanashari and indulges in a physical relationship with Subhashini. Subhashini's father Mathu Mooppan finds out their relation and beats Thakara unconscious. Thakara, fully filled with revenge on Mooppan, runs away. Once he earns enough money to buy a knife, he returns and kills Mooppan. Subhashini refuses to go with Thakara, who proposes her after killing her father. With no way to escape, Thakara finds his end in front of a running train.
Krishnan's mother
Damu, a tenant, fights the corrupt landlord who illegally occupies his land in the village.
Randu Penkuttikal is a 1978 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Mohan from a screenplay by Surasu, which is partially based on the novel of the same name by V. T. Nandakumar. This movie is one of the earliest movies to explore the theme of lesbianism in a normalised way.
This is an intersting movie as it is very different to the movies that were realeased in the 70s.Most of the movie is shot outdoors and it is more in touch with reality rather than the usual dramatic type. Prem Nazir's performance is something very diffrernt to his usual polished self. He acts as a rough police officer which is a welcome change.
