A primera vista, Henrik (Troels Lyby), Nina (Sofie Grabol) y su hija Stine (Kirstine Rosenkrands Mikkelsen) parecen una familia perfecta. Henrik es profesor de natación y Nina trabaja como secretaria. Si esta familia tiene un problema es debido a su hija de catorce años. Stine está en una fase difícil y parece distanciarse cada vez más de sus padres. Un día Stine sorprende a todos cuando cuenta algo que pone fin definitivamente a la vida familiar: acusa a su padre de haber cometido un crimen atroz. Las autoridades en seguida recomiendan a Stine que abandone la casa de sus padres. Henrik es detenido y encarcelado mientras se desarrolla la investigación. La tensión psicológica es enorme y mientras los amigos de la familia les dan la espalda, Nina detiene la relación con su marido, hasta que por fin Henrik es absuelto. Pasan meses hasta que Henrik y Nina quieren ver a su hija de nuevo y hablar de lo sucedido.

Og så kan det nok være, at børnene skal til at være kreative for at lokke Fru Flinth ud på nye løjer frem for på museumsbesøg.
