For years, the dairy farmer Klara has tried to keep the court of her deceased parents. But the business is running badly, a sale of the farm seems inevitable. If necessary, Klara asks her sister Mika for help. She lives as a successful gallery owner in the posh Düsseldorf and hopes to finally move her sister to a new beginning in the city. Very quickly, however, shows that the down-to-earth Klara and her sister Mika have very opposite ideas of a fulfilled life. With heart and humor, Olaf Kreinsen's clever comedy tells of the conflicts of an unequal sibling duo.
Llega a las pantallas esta película basada en la obra del ilustrador alemán Helme Heine, autor de algunos libros infantiles que se han convertido en clásicos de la literatura europea. La película se centra en las aventuras de un cerdito, un gallo y un ratón (que correspondería con el libro de Heine titulado "Los tres amigos") y se trata de una historia que se fundamenta en los valores básicos de la amistad y la tolerancia. En ella, el actor renegado y vagabundo de nombre Johnny Mauser (con la voz en versión original de Benno Fürmann, La princesa y el guerrero), decide abandonar la ciudad después de una vida llena de problemas. El lugar ideal en el que establecer su residencia podría ser Mullewapp, un pequeño pueblo en el que puede vivir en una pequeña y acogedora granja. Allí conocerá a Franz von Hahn y Waldemar. Karl-Heinz, a filling-station attendant, and his family, Herta, a retiree, Kurt, a drugstore branch manager, and Margot, a divorced man-hunter, have only one thing in common: they have booked a holiday at Club Las Piranjas, where they want to relax from their nerve-racking occupations. But there are three people knowing a way to prevent this. Most notably the two animators Edwin and Biggy, who don't allow any amusement outside their own plans, and of course the always drunken club chief Mrs. Wenger, whose only thought is, that there shouldn't be any reclamation from the travel agency. Apart from the scruffy condition of the Club (no water in the pool, etc). and the obscure Club activities involving Biggy and Edwin, the vacation becomes a complete horror trip, with only one end in sight, which is to part from the club as soon as possible.
