El film cuenta la historia de Hugo (Pauls), un desesperado profesor universitario que decide suicidarse con su automóvil, pero que durante el trayecto se encuentra con Paco (Tarrazo), un joven cínico que pide transporte en la carretera. Mientras Hugo comienza a conducir, una repentina tormenta de polvo los transportará a un poblado perdido en el tiempo. A pesar de todos sus intentos por salir de allí, ambos jóvenes se quedan varados en medio de la nada junto a tres camareras vestidas de rosa que les ayudarán a regresar a sus casas.
