The history of garment making in Puerto Rico has marked our history, culture, and traditions forever. The exploitative history, as a labor manual industry, which served as the base for what we have today as a fashion industry is also portrayed.

While some are eager to visit the place they once called home, others are nervous about what they will find and wary about confronting the people and things they left behind.

Mike Aguayo es un expolicía recién salido de prisión que llega a Puerto Rico para dirigir el club nocturno de su excompañero Eddie. Casi arruinado acepta la oferta de enamorar a Renée a cambio de 200.000 dólares, dinero suficiente para convertirse en el propietario del club de sus sueños. Así, Carlos conseguiría romper al acuerdo prematrimonial de Renée y su padre por adulterio y una vez asesinado éste todo pasaría a sus manos. Un plan aparentemente perfecto pero repleto de imprevisibles complicaciones que desencadenarán un baño de sangre.

A comedy narrating the adventures of ten Puerto Ricans looking for a better life. The film centers on an airplane trip to New York during 1960's. It relates in a comical, yet poignant manner, the array of reasons each of the passengers has for leaving Puerto Rico and the challenges they face as suggested by the interactions of the Anglo crew and the passengers.
