Juan Manuel González Barrón is a Mexican Luchador Enmascarado (Spanish for "Masked professional wrestler") who is best known under the ring name Dr. Wagner Jr. As Dr. Wagner Jr. he has worked mainly in Mexico for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), Mexico's two largest professional wrestling promotions as well as working for several Japanese promotions including New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). Gonzalez is the son of professional wrestler Dr. Wagner, brother of Silver King and the father of recently debuted professional wrestler El Hijo de Dr. Wagner.Known for his catchphrase during promos, "bien, bien, bien" (good, good, good).

The event took place on October 19, 2019, in Coliseo "La Concordia" in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. It was the thirteenth annual AAA show held in honor of deceased founder Antonio Peña, and featured the Copa Antonio Peña tournament named in his honor.

La Lucha Libre World Cup (Copa Mundial de Lucha Libre) es un torneo de lucha libre profesional organizado por la promoción mexicana Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) con el respaldo financiero de la compañía cervecera Grupo Modelo, con Cerveza Victoria como el patrocinador oficial. El torneo incluirá varios equipos de tres luchadores, referidos como tríos en la lucha libre mexicana, dos de los cuales representarán a la AAA, otro equipo ajeno a la AAA representará a México y también tendrán representación Total Nonstop Action, Ring of Honor, All Japan Pro Wrestling y Pro Wrestling NOAH, así como un "equipo internacional". The World Wrestling Peace Festival was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki, which took place on June 1, 1996 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California. The event was organized by Inoki to promote world peace with an interpromotional event involving major promotions from around the world. Forty wrestlers from six countries ended up taking part in the event. Inoki's home promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), as well as smaller independent groups, represented Japan, while World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) took part on behalf of the United States. Both of Mexico's top promotions Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) participated in the event, which was considered unlikely by many in the industry given their own heated rivalry.
