Living by the sea, protecting the sea, and journeying across the sea…They’re the BLUE MERMAIDS! Because of a shift in tectonic plates around 100 years ago, Japan lost much of its area to submergence. To preserve Japan’s territories, Coastal Cities sprung up, one after the other. Eventually, they became Marine Cities, and along with the expansion of sea-lanes to connect them, the need arose for a sizable staff to protect the seas. At the same time, maritime jobs were becoming more popular among women. Hence, the BLUE MERMAIDS had become every female student’s dream job.

Los Siete Pecados Capitales viajan a una tierra remota en busca del ingrediente fantasma “Pez de Cielo”. Meliodas y Hawk terminan en Sky Palace que existe sobre las nubes, donde todos los residentes tienen alas. Meliodas es confundido con un chico que cometió un crimen y es arrojado a la cárcel. Mientras tanto, los residentes están preparando la de defensa contra una bestia feroz que se despierta una vez cada 3.000 años. Pero los Seis Caballeros de Negro, un ejército del Clan Demonio, llegan y quitan el sello a la bestia antes que los residentes de Sky Palace puedan prepararse.
