Is modern youth ministry contrary to scripture? That is the core question of Divided the movie, an hour long youth ministry documentary film by Philip and Chris Leclerc. It is backed by The National Center for Family-Integrated Churches, so naturally the film is biased towards youth being integrated into a church service rather than in silos of age segregated classrooms.

In Ancient Egypt, during the monotheistic regime of Akhenaten, Akhesa is a beautiful princess, 14 years of age. An impetuous young girl, Akhesa rebels against her father's dictats. She refuses to live confined in the royal palace and wants to discover why her mother, Queen Nefertiti, has been exiled on the island of Elephantine. Assisted by her half-brother prince Tutankhaten, or "Tut", Akhesa flees the court in hopes of finding her mother. In defiance of danger the two teenagers travel down the Nile to the burning-hot desert dunes, courageously facing the mercenary Zannanza and priests of Amun Ra, who are conspiring to overthrow the pharaoh because of his rejection of their god. With innocence their only weapon, Akhesa and Tut overcome many hardships, and encounter an extraordinary destiny.

Para los Pyross, que eran adoradores del sol y dependían de él, el agua significaba muerte y desolación: les quemaba. La estación lluviosa también suponía la agitación de los dragones. Los monstruos se acercaban furtivamente a sus cuevas en Orfalaise e incluso mataban a algunos de ellos. Cada día esperaban los signos de la estación seca. Si ellos pudieran destruirles, el mundo sería mejor, un mundo sin dragones. Para los Hydross, el ciclo era opuesto: el calor del sol les convierte en estatuas, transformando sus cuerpos en piedra y dejandoles a merced de sus enemigos. Solo los beneficiosos efectos del agua podrían devolverles a la vida... La guerra entre los Pyross y los Hydross continuaba hasta el día en que Skän, un joven guerrero Pyross que había ido a una cruzada en el lejano desierto, fijó sus ojos en Kallisto.

Por haber olvidado al monstruo Metamorphe en el fondo del océano, los habitantes de Gandahar, un feliz planeta son condenados a desaparecer. Afortunadamente Metamorphe asustado por lo inminente de su muerte debe resucitarlos para obtener de ellos la energía que precisa para alcanzar la inmortalidad.
