Paul Dickey (12 May 1882 – 7 January 1933), was an American playwright and silent screen writer. He wrote 17 films between years 1914 and 1953.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois and died in New York, New York, aged 50.

An American pilot flying in Mexico crash-lands on a ranch, and is nursed back to health by the daughter of the ranch's owner. Unbeknownst to the pilot--who has lost his memory because of the crash--the girl has been praying for a husband, and believes that God has answered her prayers by sending him this handsome pilot. However, a local guerrilla leader has also had designs on the daughter, and comes up with a plan to get rid of his competition, make some money and win the girl in the bargain.

Believing that she can get Parker to consent if she is persuasive enough, Helen has her fiancé, Henry Tracey, invite the theatrical manager to the party to be given by John W. Cannell so that she may work upon him. At the affair Helen manages to obtain Parker's consent to give her a trial it she is successful in having Jack Craigen, a friend of Cannell, who has been living in Patagonia for a long time and who is a woman hater, propose to her.
