Lambert owns the trucking line that ships cattle to market. When he raises his rates Roy decides to ship the cattle on the River Boat. When Lambert and his men are unable to stop the boat, they rustle the cattle.

Las cigüeñas llegan, como todos los años, hasta un pintoresco circo para repartir los bebés a sus respectivas mamás. La señora Dumbo, una elefanta, descubre que su bebé tiene unas orejas enormes; todas sus compañeras se ríen de él, pero la señora Dumbo lo defiende siempre, hasta el punto de ser encerrada por enfrentarse a todo aquel que se mofe de su retoño. El pequeño Dumbo, maltratado y ridiculizado por todos sus compañeros, sólo cuenta con la ayuda de un minúsculo ratoncito llamado Timothy, que decide hacer de él una estrella del circo.

Larry is engaged to Lisbeth Blair but he becomes attentive to Gail, a singer, and is injured in an accident in her apartment. He is slowly going blind and decides that he shouldn't marry Lisbeth. A surgeon restores his sight and he and Lisbeth reconcile to the strains of "My Old Kentucky Home" sung by the Hall Johnson Choir.
Short subject from Pathe based on the writings of Grantland Rice, primarily remembered for his elegant approach to sportswriting. This was one of the last of the Van Beuren Corporation's "Song Sketches," along with another "The Voice of the Sea."

In this all-black cast short, legendary blues singer Bessie Smith finds her gambler lover Jimmy messin' with a pretty, younger woman; he leaves and she sings the blues, with chorus and dancers.
