Joshua, an 80-year old Holocaust survivor, discovers one morning, that a cellular antenna was installed on the roof of his house. It turned out that his neighbor has rented his part of the rooftop to a cellular company. Joshua feels a terrible injustice was done. He starts believing that all his diseases and pains are caused by the antenna's radiation. Joshua obsessively starts feeling the radiation everywhere and develops a persecution disorder which risks his life. He goes to war against his neighbor. His wife Sarah, and his 3 adult sons are dragged unwillingly into this vortex. The crisis reveals the personal problems of each of his sons, and they are forced to deal with their father's dark shadow.

On a hot summer day, Anna embarks on a little journey in the deserted desert town she lives in. She tries to find a man to give her a comforting touch, even for a brief moment .

1961, en Israel. Adam Stein (Jeff Goldblum, 'Parque jurásico'), un hombre carismático, es internado en un instituto psiquiátrico para supervivientes del Holocausto dirigido por el profesor Nathan Gross (Derek Jacobi, 'El amor es el demonio'). Antes de la guerra, en Berlín, Adam era propietario de un circo, y se dedicaba a diversas tareas, como ser mago o músico. Allí era adorado por el público, los nazis, hasta que sea enviado al campo de concentración del Comandante Klein (Willem Dafoe, 'Anticristo'). Adam sobrevivirá dentro de ese infierno convirtiéndose en el "perro" de Comandante, al mismo tiempo que prestará sus servicios como payaso a los demás presos judíos. Mientras, su mujer y su hija serán enviadas a la muerte. El director Paul Schrader ('El placer de los extraños'), firma esta película, adaptación de la novela de Yoram Kaniuk, "El hombre perro" y que se interna en los resbaladizos terrenos de la historia del genocidio nazi a través de una historia llena de humor y de dolor.

Una noche en un bar, un viejo amigo cuenta al director Ari Folman que tiene una pesadilla recurrente en la que le persiguen 26 perros. Cada noche, el mismo número de animales. Los dos hombres llegan a la conclusión de que hay una conexión entre su sueño y una misión del ejército israelí durante la primera Guerra del Líbano de los años ochenta. Ari se sorprende de no poder recordar nada más de ese periodo de su vida.

In her, turbulent journey in the streets of Tel-Aviv, old truths from her past come back to life and threaten to break down a wall of denials behind which, she's been hiding all her life.
