Since 2013, the Central African Republic has been embroiled in a conflict between Christian and Muslim armed groups. While diamonds and gold are traded in global indifference, a cardinal and an imam fight together for interreligious coexistence.

As winter sets in and P.A. sees the world shifting around him, he starts to observe strange phenomena in the environment. The changes are imperceptible at first, but gradually his whole world seems to be on the brink.

People have different ideas on how to get closer to God. The makers of this fascinating Swiss documentary follow two Pakistani men. One is a dervish or mystic, undertaking a life-long pilgrimage with heavy metal rings on his legs. He walks through the desert until his feet are raw, praying at every shrine he comes across along the way. The other is the custodian of a centuries-old musical tradition, for whom the idea of God lies in self-knowledge, insight and harmony with the environment – a harmony that he strives to achieve through life-long study and passing on his knowledge to new generations. In Pakistan, it is impossible for them to act together as the risk of attacks means any large meetings are prohibited. The film follows the men as they visit impressive holy sites, as well as in their everyday conversations, and provides a beautiful, sideways look at Pakistani society.

La revolución sandinista incitó a cientos de jóvenes occidentales a realizar sus ideales políticos en Nicaragua. Todo parecía posible en un país en plena reconstrucción socialista después de décadas del régimen totalitario de Somoza. Una generación de activistas se unió a la revolución y experimentó con ella diariamente. A partir de 1982, "la Contra", una guerrilla contrarrevolucionaria financiada por Estados Unidos, atacó al país para debilitar a los sandinistas. La guerra civil cobró 50,000 víctimas, entre las cuales había unos veinte jóvenes extranjeros. Después de pasar cuatro años en Nicaragua, el ingeniero agrónomo suizo Maurice Demierre fue asesinado en una emboscada el 16 de febrero de 1986. Se convirtió en mártir de la revolución. La película se remonta al viaje de Maurice Demierre y su compañera Chantal Bianchi, desde su partida de Suiza en 1982 hasta la peregrinación de Chantal a la tumba de Maurice veinte años después de su muerte.
