La moderna metrópoli mamífera de Zootrópolis es una ciudad absolutamente única. Está compuesta de barrios con diferentes hábitats como la lujosa Plaza Sahara, el Distrito Selva Tropical y el gélido Distrito Tundra. Es un crisol donde los animales de cada entorno conviven, un lugar donde no importa lo que seas. De hecho puedes ser cualquier cosa, desde un elefante enorme hasta la musaraña más diminuta. Pero cuando llega la optimista agente Judy Hopps, descubre que ser la primera conejita de un cuerpo policial compuesto de animales duros y enormes no es nada fácil. Pero está decidida a demostrar su valía y se mete de cabeza en un caso, a pesar de que eso significa trabajar con Nick Wilde, un zorro parlanchín y estafador, para resolver el misterio.

Hubert, the lovely wannabe-casanova protagonist of this story has a bubble floating over his head (like in comics), and in this bubble all his thoughts are visible. So everybody can read his thoughts, and since he mostly thinks about (naked) ladies, this gets him into big trouble… How exposed and public can your thoughts become before it gets embarrassing? Which dirty thoughts could get you into trouble? That's the problem of our protagonist Hubert. Anyone can clearly read his thoughts in a speech balloon floating above his head. In our film we accompany him on his challenging search for a girlfriend. A comedy about 'The End of Privacy'.

The hermit Jimbo lives with his flesh-eating plant Clementine in a treehouse in nowhere land. When he takes away Clemetine’s beloved coca plant, she strikes back. This was Jacob Fey's first project at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and the first time Roman Kälin and he got in contact with the stop-motion technique. They created huge sets and built the puppets out of silicon and metal joints. The set can be seen in the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. The production time was four months.

In 2006 Jacob Frey applied at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam and as an application exercise had to create a video to "being locked in a room". His skillset back then was very limited and he just started to dive into video software. Even though Jacob Frey got accepted to their course he instead decided to gamble and wait for the application results at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. Luckily he managed to get one of the few spots and started his path towards becoming an animator.
