Terri Garber is an American television and film actress, best known for her role as Ashton Main, Southern Belle vixen, in the three-part miniseries, North and South (North & South: Book 1, North & South (1985), North & South: Book 2, Love & War (1986), and North & South: Book 3, Heaven & Hell (1994)). Garber grew up in Miami, Florida, the youngest of three children. Their father was a lawyer, and their mother owned a cooking school. Garber began acting in professional theater at the age of 16 at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami. She booked a commercial that made her a member of the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) and decided to move to New York to pursue television, film, and theater. Once in New York, she landed her first big role in the 1982 television series Texas (1980), which launched her career. She moved to Los Angeles to do series pilots, and booked "North and South". After "North and South", she worked on many other daytime and nighttime soaps, including Dynasty, Santa Barbara, General Hospital, and As the World Turns. She also guest-starred in many drama series and feature films. Garber married her high school drama teacher, William Roudebush, in 2013. Her daughter Molly Hager, by her first husband Chris Hager, is a successful Broadway actress.

En la pelicula SnakeHead Swamp, Louisiana es uno de los estados de Norteamérica en donde hay una mayor cantidad de pantanos. Es un sitio en el que aún queda naturaleza prácticamente virgen, por lo que es el lugar ideal para que se desarrolle la historia que nos cuenta esta película. En uno de esos tranquilos pantanos está a punto de ocurrir una tragedia de proporciones épicas. Allí, en la soledad de la naturaleza virgen, se está desarrollando una especie de pez de lo más extraña: el pez cabeza de serpiente. Este pez tiene unas fauces terribles con unos dientes enormes, lo que le permite morder cualquier cosa, entre ellas a los humanos. De esta forma, cuando una persona se acerque al pantano, los peces van a salir y la van a atacar, acabando muchos de estos ataques con la persona muerta. El terror pronto se extiende por la zona, por lo que se tendrá que hacer algo para terminar con estos peces.
