Production Design
Aspiring director Eddie moves from the Midwest to Los Angeles, where he rooms with his cousin and attempts to establish himself in advertising — but he doesn't have much luck. Seeking something worthwhile, Eddie decides to shift his focus to looking for love through a video dating service. He goes through one bad date after another, but the only thing he finds interesting about the service is Peggy Kellogg, one of the employees.

La marihuana es el negocio más rentable y rápido de América. Esta forma tan fácil de hacer dinero no se para ante nada y nadie. Los padres de Joshua son asesinados brutalmente por los capos del tráfico de drogas. Este decide vengarlos. Se une a Jose Dillon, un detective privado que conoce muy bien la ciudad y, juntos se ponen a trabajar. Su primera tarea es encontrar a los asesinos y así dar a conocer a la gente el horroroso tráfico de drogas. Pero encuentran muchas más dificultades de las esperadas, porque hay demasiado dinero por medio, la vida es fácil, nadie quiere complicarse la existencia. Además, habalr significa en estos casos, tu sentencia de muerte y ellos sólo entienden ya el lenguaje de su propia codicia: la marihuana.

En enero de 1978, tras su éxito en Inglaterra, la banda de punk rock Sex Pistols se aventura en su gira por el sur de Estados Unidos. El temperamental bajista Sid Vicious es obligado por sus compañeros de banda y su manager a viajar sin su problemática novia, Nancy Spungen, que se reunirá con él en Nueva York. Cuando la banda se disuelve y Sid comienza su carrera en solitario en una ciudad hostil, la turbulenta pareja cae definitivamente en las profundidades de la adicción a las drogas, un último viaje sin retorno.
