Ikumi Takahashi

This piece takes 8 seconds, and creates intervals between the frames, and then makes them bigger. It's about expansion and enlargement, not the passage of time. 8 seconds becomes that much more luxuriant.

We cannot stay here any longer. We must leave tomorrow morning. A clown convinces and hurries the residents of an amusement park, a girl, a gay, a soldier, a dog, to be in time for the merry-go-round.

A spring night, I walked past a ‘god’. I wonder if it was a cat or a man. Or was it a wind I felt in a slumber? They were certainly there, celebrating the cycle of lives in small ways.

People can show some other personality when eating. Some become like herbivores, chewing so many times. Some becomes like carp, crowing around bait. Some become like hamsters, with their mouths full, etc. Everyone is unique and worth observation.

At night, the child sees the sandy figure coming into his room. It lures his stuffed animal away from the shelf and they are gone beyond the hill. Following them to get his stuffed animal back, the child goes into the deep darkness of the night. . .

A high school girl goes to an amusement park in the afternoon. . . and loses her bear key-holder when she changed key-holders. Believing himself to have been abandoned, the bear tries to follow her. Can he really gain her love?

Depiction of an incident that happened one night. . . as everyone returns to their hometown for the holidays, told from a child’s point of view.
