La cinta cuenta la historia de Geña, la esposa de Blás, quien está dedicada únicamente a las tareas del hogar por disposición de su marido. Cuando su esposo sufre un accidente y es hospitalizado, Geña se hace cargo de la cosecha de café. Con la ayuda de la comunidad logra recolectar una abundante cosecha y negociar un buen precio de venta, sorprendiendo a su esposo que la creía incapaz de llevar a cabo las tareas que consideraba exclusivas de los hombres.

A small town celebrates the triumph of their revolution. Under the euphoria of the moment, the town's founder is declared a traitor and the destruction of his statue is decided by the people. A journalist buys the statue before it is destroyed. Later, the townspeople discover that the statue isn't from who they thought it was and they decide to retrieve it. The journalist, however, doesn't want to give it back, giving rise to the dilemma.
