The intention is to be a good police officer, but in Russia it is very cold. In the distant regions of Russia, two police officers go on a job. The task they face is rather simple, but the local climate creates a serious obstacle for its fulfilment.
Okhrannik (Security guard)
Alex glides his mouse tenderly over online images of Vika. He has been smitten ever since he saw her with her friends and cannot get her out of his head. Unfortunately, Vika is beyond Alex’s reach because he's not welcome in her neighborhood. Nonetheless, Alex sneaks into a disco at her school and finds up the courage to ask her to dance. Moments are intense as Alex feels infatuation for the first time.
Andrey's stepbrother Sasha dies, with whom he was destined to meet only once. With a heavy heart, Andrei goes to a funeral and finds himself in an ominous atmosphere of a complete stranger and, in general, a family alien to him. Trying to figure out the strange circumstances of his brother’s death, Andrey re-experiences the events of a seemingly long forgotten and painful past, because it seems that only it can tell where the truth is and what really happened to Sasha - an accident or suicide?

Un grupo de soldados del ejército estadounidense que participaron en la Guerra de Vietnam están organizando una misión: su objetivo es hacer estallar un nuevo conflicto, cuanto más grande mejor, que les haga aumentar la industria armamentística de su país y, así, obtener grandes beneficios. La Unión Soviética no está dispuesta a que esto ocurra y manda a un soldado a frenar la operación. Pero no es un soldado cualquiera, se trata del comandante Shatokhin, un auténtico héroe de la URSS que no parará hasta realizar su cometido.
