Avi Mograbi acude al encuentro de solicitantes de asilo africanos, en un campo en el medio del desierto del Néguev, en el que han sido confinados por el estado de Israel. Juntos, utilizando técnicas del Teatro del Oprimido, ponen en cuestión la condición de los refugiados en Israel. ¿Son sus trágicas historias diferentes a la de la abuela de Mograbi, que huyó de los nazis? ¿Qué lleva a hombres y mujeres a abandonar todo y avanzar hacia lo desconocido? ¿Por qué Israel, tierra de refugiados, se niega a tener en cuenta la situación de los exiliados, a quienes la guerra, la miseria y el maltrato lanzan a la carretera? ¿Puede el teatro participar del cambio social y tender puentes entre las personas?

A former Israeli soldier participated in a mission of retribution in which two Palestinian policemen were killed. He seeks forgiveness for what he did. His girlfriend does not think it is so simple and raises questions that he is not yet able to cope with. The soldier willingly testifies before the camera as long as his identity is not revealed. The filmmaker, while seeking a solution to protect the identity of the soldier, questions his own political and artistic conduct.
