He sings five songs for the romantic scenes.
Datuk Panglima Kumbang
The third and final entry in this original fantasy / horror series (which was remade for Indonesian television later) finds Sembara (Fendy Pradana) and friends facing off against a gaggle of supernatural bad guys.
Susy has an abortion, as she is ashamed of her unmarried pregnancy. Nenek Lampir kills her because of this, and her spirit then returns to the world of the living as a beautiful woman, to attract men. She becomes the incarnation of Nenek Lampir so Susy becomes a wild, sexual dangerous woman thirsty for blood. She turns three men into her zombie followers, and they then wreak havoc in the village. Jamal, a religious man, is unsuccessful against them until Kyai Abdullah, who is more powerful arrives. He exorcizes Susy, and releases the three men from her influence.
Datuk Panglima Kumbang
Ki Jabat, the lord of a forbidden jungle, adopts a son he names Sembara. To increase his power, Sembara is told to explore the jungle and is helped / trained by Datuk Panglima Kumbang, a “Tiger Man.” Another Tiger Man named Mardian, this one an evil cannibal, is going around doing terrible things and Sembara must use his new skills to stop him. This is another crazy Indonesian mishmash of fantasy, horror, action and melodrama.
Kalingundil
Orphan Sari goes to live with her uncle Mr. Padmo, his wife and their daughter Yuni. Trouble begins when the wife and daughter (who is jealous a boy she likes prefers her cousin) accuse her of stealing and threaten to kick her out. The innocent Sari's parents return as ghosts to help her out, including creating a "pocong" (death shroud) ghost to scare them.
Dono, Kasino, and Indro (played by the Warkop Trio) are hired as puppet ballet dancers. Their jokes and fighting stunts, delight the audience. But soon after, Gozal, a real estate businessman acquires the land, where the puppet ballet building sits on. The dispute over the land and its certificate becomes the film’s satire. Finally, Dono and friends challenge the champions of Gozal to a boxing match.
Alfred
Richard Brown, a decorated Vietnam War veteran now living in Indonesia, discovers that gunmen invaded his home, murdered his son, Bobby, (preparing to celebrate his 8th birthday), and gang-raped and murdered his wife, Florinda. Vowing revenge, he begins to track down the culprits, learning in the process that they're in the employ of a business rival named Hawk. At one point he's captured, beaten, and tortured but then he's rescued by Julia, Hawk's personal secretary, who also seeks revenge on her employer for causing the death of her sister. Brown eventually finds and confronts Hawk at Hawk's fortress-like compound.
Captain De Mandes
Dutch colonial army in West Java holds a martial arts tournament to select the best warrior to confront local warrior-freedom fighter Parmin (nicknamed Jaka Sembung). The winner is an obscure blind swordsman and the Dutch commander De Mandes (Gino Makasutji) commissions him. However, the swordsman is sympathetic with Jaka Sembung's cause and things get more complicated when magician seductress Dewi Magi as well as her guru (W. D. Mochtar) intervene on behalf of the Dutch.
Director Teguh Karya intended to make a “real” comedy amidst the many slapstick comedies at the time, and in fact calls this film a bitter comedy. In the film, Ms. Sumirah, a widow who used to be a favourite pretty girl in Padalarang, worries about her daughter Anna, who is shy and self-conscious. She keeps pushing Anna’s brother, Willy, to invite home a co-worker from the clothing factory he works in. Then a change occurs after Anna meets Jaka, an English teacher living near her house. When their relationship starts to bloom, it is found out that Jaka is the son of Saodah, a woman who once had an affair with Sumirah’s husband, Van Nijs. Sumirah changes her mind and opposes their relationship. Finally Anna and Jaka elope.
