Un hombre de la calle se ha ganado la vida ejerciendo como matón, gracias a su corpulencia. Un día decide cambiar su estilo de vida y ayudar a los jóvenes del barrio. De modo que funda el club Mr. T, donde los jóvenes pueden reunirse, hacer deporte y celebrar sus fiestas, lejos de los peligros de la calle. Además, para solventar los problemas económicos que le acosan, decide presentarse al concurso "El hombre más fuerte del mundo".
