ZONE is a melodrama about a girl with paranormal abilities who fights against a system that tries to calculate and completely record people in a hermetically sealed area. A German film team is shooting a documentary in northeastern Turkey. In a remote Kurdish village, they witness an elderly women performing a recurring ritual to keep the memory of her missing son alive. The Kurdish translator of the German crew is also the nanny of Melek, a 7–year–old turkish girl. Her father, Zafer, works for a sinister organization and is caught between loyalty to them and and fear for his family's well being when his daughter appears to be haunted by a mysterious force. The fateful encounter of these people developes a destructive power. IN THE BLIND SPOT unravels a complex net of conspiracy, paranoia and generational trauma.

Matured through two years in prison, Babtou is looking forward to a new beginning with his buddy Dennis. A free man in a free world! But of all things, his welcome party where all the boys from the block are gathered ends in a police operation. Babtou has his hands cuffed again and is confronted with dramatic news. He will soon be deported to his “home country” of Senegal. To prevent a deportation, Babtou and Dennis are willing to do anything, including marriage.

30 years ago, Juri fled the GDR for the West via the Prague embassy and built up an existence in Canada. Thirty years later, he returns to his hometown of Eisenach to take care of his demented father, a former veterinarian. He also meets his former girlfriend Katharina again, who did not follow him onto the embassy grounds back in Prague and whom he has not seen again since. Katharina has been married for years now and is the mother of a grown-up son and a teenage daughter. She helps Juri find a place for his father in a nursing home and soon feels drawn to Juri again. Juri wants to return to Canada, but since the home placement for his father fails, Juri stays in Eisenach.

Leni and Rea spend their holiday in the Serbian countryside. Leni tries hard to reach out for the attention of her friend Rea and convinces her to trip on LSD. Rea is opening up. The sun burns bright. But soon Leni will need to face her lack of prudence with fullest hardship.

This is a story set in the distant past, in the seventeenth century, during the Thirty Years’ War. In the city of Nordhausen, in the Harz Mountains, life is cheap, and the prevailing class divisions and interpersonal relations increasingly intense. The children are taken away from their parents by force, and when they return after many years, they seem to be strangers to them. Yet this is also a story set in modern times where people are still incapable of learning the lessons left for them by the previous generations of cruel divisions. The film is a cinematic experiment dealing with the beauty, fragility, and imperfection of human nature through archetypes and myths.

A son visits his father at his farm. While slaughtering a lamb, shortly before the son’s departure, the long-term alienation between the two comes to light. An accident occurs which briefly opens the possibility of a new beginning.

Meanwhile, his friend Kenn covers Lenz with affectionate incomprehension. When autumn arrives, Ira eventually confronts Lenz and he has to face the big “whatsoever”.

Sushila, an elderly woman, lives with her family in Mumbai by the sea and goes into the city day after day to work as a cook for a wealthy family. She travels between two very different worlds. Sushila has worked since she was 13 years old and her aim is to lead a happy life.
