Revenge of a Young Wife's Witchcraft
This is a sequel to the film Guna-guna Istri Muda ("A Young Wife's Witchcraft"). The husband, Arifin, realizes his bad behavior and divorces his second wife, Sandra, to go back and live with his first wife, Tati. Sandra is vengeful about the one-sided divorce. She asks for the shaman’s help, to use black magic to destroy Arifin’s family. Chaos ensues in the family, including during a wedding reception of the son. At a critical moment, a savior arrives.

Because she violated the doctor’s order to not get pregnant again, Yuwono’s wife finally dies while she is pregnant with her third child. Yuwono then marries an office staff, Ningsih. Harun, another co-worker who also loves Ningsih, tries to destroy Yuwono by tampering with the office’s financial report so that Yuwono is arrested and is investigated. Harun then influences Ningsih, regarding her standing as a stepmother, so that Yuwono’s house is taken over and the stepchildren, Netty and Susy, are treated harshly. The two children run away from home, looking for their father, and are separated for a time. When Yuwono is proven innocent and is released, he does not find his children at home and goes around Jakarta to look for them. He finally finds them again.

Later, he resigns when he can’t get along with the investor, a beautiful rich widow, Lukitaningsih, who wants to gain personal profit from the co-op. As a result, he also quarrels with his lover, Pijah, and her father, Misral. Samsu then becomes a fisherman. The title “Hurricane and Storm”, is seemingly a translation from Sturm und Drang, a psychological term for puberty or a transition period for an individual's mental state. Kaslan is a conservative and honest bank clerk, while his wife, Miah, is more liberal in terms of discipline. Kaslan is strict with his daughters, Wati and Tina. It makes Wahab afraid to approach the girl of his dream, Wati, since Kaslan always escorts her wherever she goes. Wahab is also jealous by Wati's favourite English teacher and he tries to hang himself when she falls in love with a singer. When the singer rejects Wati, she returns to Wahab. Tina reveals all to her father but before he can scold her, she leaves the house, and returns home only much later. But mother explains about the puberty that Wati is going through. In turn, Wahab also learns to understand Kaslan's reason for his strictness. Then they both graduate from high school.

He commutes to the city to handle the villager's credit, and is supported by his neighbour, a war widow. He expects Mardi's assistance, but Mardi is afraid to help for fear of losing his girlfriend, Narsih, who is actually Jontro's daughter. Finally, Tabung establishes the cooperative and the villagers gain the courage to fight off Jontro. Jontro now loses his livelihood so he begins to extort from Mardi, whose parents owe him money. Then Mardi comes to his senses. So does Jontro's right hand, Sadar. In the end, Sadar and Jontro have a face-off, and both are killed in the brawl.

Three sisters—Nunung (Chitra Dewi), Nana (Mieke Wijaya) and Nenny (Indriati Iskak)—are being raised by their grandmother (Fifi Young) in Jakarta after their mother's death. Though the sisters' father Sukandar (Hassan Sanusi (id)) lives with them, he is too involved in his own work to pay them heed. While the sisters are out with Nana's boyfriend Herman (Bambang Irawan), their grandmother tells Sukandar than she will not live to see Nunung, already aged 29, marry. He agrees to invite his colleagues to the house. When they come several days later, Nunung impresses all present with her piano-playing and singing. However, the men are all too old, and Nunung's grandmother insists that Sukandar find a younger man. Nenny, overhearing the conversation, suggests that they hold a party; this too is a failure, as Nunung takes no interest in the festivities.
