Solstice is an astronomical event that signifies the beginning of summer or winter. It is the time of year when the sun is most intensely focused on one of the two hemispheres. The solstices are related to esotericism and for many cultures they have a very important symbolism. For example, for some peoples, the summer solstice is a reason for great joy, because it represents the victory of Light over Darkness. The solstice occurs twice a year, on June 21st and December 21st, marking the beginning of the seasons, which are opposite in each hemisphere.

The Oakley surf team displays a lot of talent and all its power in Retratum, a film that brings back memories and unforgettable moments of the surf trips of each one of its members. With high definition images, the production goes through the best and most famous surf spots in the world, as well as unusual places like Colombia, Morocco and Galapagos. Big names in Brazilian surfing invade the screen in a show of tubes and amazing maneuvers, such as Adriano de Souza, Danilo Costa, Jadson André, Miguel Pupo, Gilmar Silva, Caio Ibelli, Ítalo Ferreira, Leo Neves, André Pastori, Edgar Groggia, Charlie Brown, Sandino, Camilo Hornke, Rodrigo Sino and Eraldo Gueiros. The film was included in the February/2009 issue of Fluir magazine.
The film shows the performances of the best surfers in the world in various spots on the planet, passing through paradisiacal locations such as Indonesia, Tahiti, Hawaii, Jeffrey's Bay, Australia and Fernando de Noronha (PE). Tracco says the new film is undoubtedly his best production to date. "I'm very happy to release Season 2. The film is international, with great underwater footage and top-notch surfing", says the videomaker.
