The Panke is a small river that is born in Bernau, to the north of Berlin, and that after crossing great part of the city ends in the Spree. It has an extension of 29 kilometers.

Un grupo de chicos y chicas de veintipico se instala en una casaquinta que parece completamente aislada de la civilización. Una de ellas escribe una novela mientras los otros intentan convertirse en una banda que prepara un robo; algunos se enamoran, o parecen, o creen, o dicen enamorarse. Pero esas dos, tres, diez líneas narrativas se desdoblan a partir de lo que los personajes esconden o simplemente desconocen, y es así que la escritura de la novela y la formación de la banda se conectan, y que el pasado de dos de ellos los une al de la casa y al de quienes quizás sean los dos enemigos acérrimos de la historia argentina del siglo XIX…

Eleven young film-makers got together to collaborate in this atypical project. Atypical not only because of its technical specs, but because of its narrative structure. There are several scenes with only the city in common, and more as a conceptual presence at that than as a precise geography. None of those scenes contains a single "story": Each one of them is part of a larger situation that we cannot see, as though the beginning and end of each "story" had to be filled in by the audience.
