Una mujer de un escritor muere dando luz a su hijo. Al poco tiempo descubre que es impotente y que posiblemente su mujer le ha engañado. A partir de ahí comienzan una serie de asesinatos brutales sobre mujeres jóvenes que están embarazadas. Todas las pistas conducen al escritor pero hay muchos mas sospechosos que han podido perpetrar tan horribles crimenes.
