Sam, quien después de que su motocicleta resultase dañada en un aparente choque en el océano, queda varado en un pequeño pueblo de Nueva Inglaterra. Allí encuentra refugio en un motel en ruinas administrado por Kate, un alma perdida igualmente quemada. El misterio en torno a la presencia de Sam en la ciudad se desvela cuando se descubre que su hija Audrey, de la que está separado, vive allí, la hija a la que no ha visto en 25 años. Mientras intenta cerrar la brecha entre la niña que dejó hace mucho tiempo y la mujer que creció sin su padre, Sam descubre que nunca fue hecho para estar conectado emocionalmente con nadie, a menos que se enamore de otra alma al igual que solitaria.

Light Up the Night is an analog science-fiction short film set in an Orwellian, futuristic 1980s. The story tells the tensions flaring between rebellious citizens and robotic law enforcement. We are introduced to two dissidents as they take aim at the city's looming, panoptic control tower, while local band The Protomen take the stage amidst the action, inciting unrest as they narrate the struggle.
