Things backfire for young Cheol-hie when she convinces her father to go on a blind date with her kindergarten teacher. It turns out that her teacher is actually Cheol-hie's birth mother. While at first, Cheol-hie is excited at the possibility of her parents getting back together, it turns out that her mother/teacher has different wedding plans coming up in the near future.

The film based on the true story of Kim Gwang-seon, a mineworker who survived a collapse of Gubong Mine in August 22, 1967. The story focuses on the importance of saving a life, and the survivors' will to live.
Screenplay
Un domingo de invierno, un joven sin un centavo llamado Huh Wook (Shin Seong-il) parte para encontrarse con su amada Ji-yeon (Ji Yun-seong). Incapaz de formar una familia, Ji-yeon, que está embarazada, necesita un aborto. Huh Wook se encuentra con sus amigos para conseguir dinero, pero termina robándole a un amigo cuando todos sus amigos se niegan a prestárselo y huyen. Mientras Ji-yeon está en el hospital, Huh Wook pierde el tiempo en un bar con otra mujer y pasan la noche juntos. Cuando se despierta y recuerda a Ji-yeon que está en el hospital, corre de regreso al hospital solo para descubrir que ella ha muerto durante la cirugía.
