Tras el reciente fallecimiento de su abuelo, Yura debe cambiar de ciudad y colegio, teniendo que mudarse a casa de su abuela por decisión de sus padres. Yura no termina de adaptarse al nuevo colegio, no tiene ningún amigo y por si fuera poco, el colegio al que asiste es cristiano, mientras que él es budista. Desconoce por completo esta religión pero siente atracción por la figura de Jesús, quién se le aparece cuando reza y le concede pequeños deseos.
