La misma noche de su llegada la anciana muere y, al no funcionar el teléfono, decide ir a buscar ayuda a la calle, donde un hombre la atraca y la hace perder el conocimiento. Nora recobra el conocimiento durante varios segundos, suficientes para ver cómo una mujer es asesinada a pocos metros.
