Un mes después de producirse un apocalipsis zombi, un grupo de supervivientes abandona su refugio situado en un centro comercial para encontrar un lugar seguro que se rumorea que existe. El grupo está formado por cuatro hombres que por razones de seguridad ocultan sus nombres y se hacen llamar Green bay, Chicago, Brookyln y Harlem; un sheriff que acaba de despertarse de un relajante coma de seis semanas, su hijo emprendedor de tan sólo diez años y un zombie capaz de hablar que ha conseguido convencer al resto de que realmente no está muerto... Brandon, a respected street fighter, is forced to flee the city after his brother is murdered and the money that was supposed to be paid back to a local gangster is stolen. While lying low at his father's house in a small Southern town, Brandon soon gets involved in the local underground cage-fighting circuit. With the help of Drake Colby, a former MMA champion, Brandon devises a scheme to bring a massive payday, if they are able to survive.
