Akihiro, un cineasta japonés que vive en París, vuelve a Japón a entrevistar a supervivientes para un documental conmemorativo del 70 aniversario de la bomba atómica de Hiroshima. Profundamente conmovido por las entrevistas, decide tomarse un descanso, y deambulando por la ciudad, conoce a Michiko, una joven alegre y enigmática. Michiko se lo lleva en un improvisado y alegre recorrido desde la ciudad hacia el mar, donde los horrores del pasado se mezclan con la simplicidad del presente.

The film opens with images of the Ariane 5 launch base in the jungle of French Guyana. Then a weightless frog in space, tropical plants mixed with technological models of the Star City in Moscow, an iguana in the role of Donna Haraway's cyborg and the incredible archival images of space agencies around the world. "No Gravity" is a film between science and fiction, seen from a queer, lesbian and feminist point of view.

Borrowing its title from the William Carlos Williams poem of the same name, Nameless Spectacle revela in the beauty of ordinary life through themes of voyeurism, power, and sexual violence. Projected on two duelling screens the viewer is unable to focus on the parallel perspectives of the film’s dual perspectives.
