Financial upheaval forces a teenage deaf girl, 16-year-old Valmira, to leave her progressive Athens school and return to her father's struggling island; there, she is confronted by the danger of prejudice and intolerance – most shockingly her own.

A teenage girl believes she never dreams, or otherwise doesn't remember any of her dreams; apparently, they are too dull to be worth keeping. But in the course of a single day at home, time will pass like a dream. And when she opens her eyes, she will find that her waking life, outside the world of her empty dream state, is a much lovelier place to be in.

One year after the death of her mother, Elena, a young French woman of Greek origin, returns to her holiday home on the island of Lesbos. She is accompanied by her friends Nassim and Sekou, two young suburbanites more used to the benches of the city than the paradisiac beaches.

The film follows the parallel and entwining stories as well as the common fates of some very different young people for 24 hours in the summertime: from the prison to the corridors of the airport and from the Saronikos beaches to the Psiloritis mountain. The common characteristic of the heroes is that they have inherited from their nefarious parents various problems. In spite of the fact that they used to be neutral, due to specials conditions they will be forced to grow up.
